Phil Creek BA. ATD, SWAc (Hon), NAPA

Phil studied Fine Art Painting receiving his Bachelor of Arts from Manchester University before undertaking Post-graduate study in the History of Art at Birmingham University. He worked as County Art Adviser for Devon until 2011. He is now a full-time painter living in East Devon.

As well as a busy painter’s life Phil has contributed widely to art organisations and was Trustee of The Devon Arts in Schools Initiative, Chair of The South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts and continues to be The President of Otter Vale Art Society (OVAS) and Vice President, Budleigh Salterton Art Society.

He paints both plein air and in his East Devon studio. He has exhibited at The Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, Exeter; The Royal Society of Marine Artists at The Mall Gallery, London; The Penwith Gallery, St Ives; Falmouth Art Gallery and The Royal West of England Academy, Bristol as well as many commercial galleries in the southwest.
